I almost skipped Fishing entirely when preparing for MoP Classic because I thought it would be another boring side profession. But after diving into the system, I discovered that Blizzard turned Fishing into a full progression experience. Between The Anglers reputation, Nat Pagle friendship, daily fishing events, and incredible rewards like a water-walking mount and permanent fishing buffs, this may actually be one of the highest-value professions in the expansion. If you're a casual player, an alt enthusiast, or someone who likes making extra gold, I highly recommend giving it a chance. Trust me—future you will be glad you started early.
